UK porn addiction problem on the rise, reveals New BBC survey

BBC Radio 1 yesterday published findings from a new survey, revealing an increase in the number of men suffering from sex addiction across the UK.

Although these findings come as no great suprise, it’s interesting to note that professional therapists and counselling services were surveyed, rather than a sample of the general public. Almost 80% of the 43 therapists in the survey said sex addiction is a problem, and 74% said it was becoming increasingly common to see excessive use of internet pornography as a problem in relationships.
