New hip-hop album examines the growing problem of porn addiction

Chicago rapper/producer Jay Who? has just released “The Light In Da Addict”, hip-hop’s first concept album based around porn addiction. According to his press release:

"Through the use of comedy and wit Jay cleverly sheds light on this growing issue with self-deprecating humor, a hilarious storyline, as he goes through a self examination process searching for answers to his porn addiction."

And it's destined to reach a wide audience too. Having received strong reviews from Miles Raymer of The Chicago Reader, and www.beatspermil.com calling it "one of the best albums of the year so far" along with a 9/10 rating, Jay Who? is considered an artist to watch in 2009.

It really pleases me to see the profile of porn addiction raised with such innovation and credibility. And better still, the entire album can be downloaded for free here.
